At Pentland Childcare & Kindergarten Centre we aim to provide a warm, welcoming and friendly learning environment where children feel safe and secure, respected, valued, encouraged, reassured, and nurtured.  We respect the individualism of each family and strive to collaborate closely with families, colleagues, other professionals and the community to provide a high quality service that is culturally inclusive, unbiased, educational, challenging, stimulating  and developmentally appropriate. 

We understand the significance of play in each child’s life and aim to provide opportunities that will assist children to develop a strong sense of identity, wellbeing, develop independence, effective communication skills and be involved learners as they make connections and sense of the world around them.
